3:How to Begin

Welcome to North Seattle Community College Hybrid Learning.

1. NSCC Distance Learning office offers a student orientation meeting each quarter for online students. This orientation meeting will offer helpful information on what to expect and how to access your online class. Learn more about Online Student Orientation.

2. Hybrid classes have Campus Attendance Requirements: Please see Quarterly Class Schedule, Online or the printed schedule for dates and times of attendance. Hybrid classes generally meet 2 to 3 times a week on campus and the rest of the work is done online during the week.

3. Required textbooks or other instructional material will be provided by your instructor.  If your class uses an online courseware you can learn more about these in our Courseware tutorials.

4. Spend some time familiarizing yourself with Distance Learning Help. These pages contain information about online tutoring, campus computer labs and more. These resources may be helpful during your quarter.

After you have completed this second step, go to STEP3: How to Begin
