COORDINATED STUDIES: Memory and Memoir
divider.gif (67 bytes)

Short Description: How does memory work and not work?  What types of things do we remember, and what do we forget?  How do our reflections on the past influence our ideas of who we are?  Where the heck are my car keys?  Using an in-depth look at the psychological research of memory, and applying those ideas to actual personal narratives and memories, we will examine how the types of things we remember and forget reflect our culture and ourselves.
