Welcome to North Seattle Community College Distance Learning.

1. NSCC Distance Learning office offers an optional student orientation meeting each quarter for online students who are new to distance learning. This orientation meeting will offer helpful information on what to expect and how to access your online class. Learn more about Online Student Orientation.

2. Some classes hold their own on campus orientation meetings specific to the needs of that class. Check the Registered Students page to see if your class has one and plan on attending. If you can not attend please contact your instructor.

3. Learn more about fees, books, and videos.

4. Spend some time familiarizing yourself with Distance Learning Resources Tool Box. These pages contain information about online tutoring, campus computer labs and more. These resources may be helpful during your quarter.

After you have completed this second step, go to STEP3: How to Begin
