Services Available through the Women's Center
• Resource referral for various academic and non-academic needs (see
"About the Women's Center" below for details)
• Referrals/vouchers for the YWCA's Dress for Success and Working
Wardrobe programs, which provide professional attire to low-income
women who are currently working or interviewing for jobs
• Cell phone recycling program to support survivors of domestic
violence (drop box in the Women's Center)
• Weekly visits from King County Public Health outreach nurse, who
fields general health questions and concerns (Mondays,
12:30pm-2:30pm outside Baxter Center)
• Information about scholarships, workshops, conferences, and other
academic resources related to women, LGBTQ identity, or gender-based
issues

Women's Center's general hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, during which time students may drop in to browse resources independently, use the phone or desk space, or just hang out for a bit. Drop-in hours to see a program assistant regarding resource referral, questions, or concerns are Monday through Thursday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
The program assistant will not be able to see anyone during non-drop-in hours, unless it is an emergency or a prior arrangement has been made. If you are facing a life-threatening situation, please call 911 or contact Campus Security at: (206) 934-3636.

About the Women's Center:
The Women’s Center is a campus service for current and prospective
students of all gender identities. Our goal is to support,
encourage, and empower our students in their academic and personal
growth, given the unique challenges and barriers they may face. We
provide confidential, safe, and inclusive services, including
referral for housing, health care, child care, domestic violence,
family planning, counseling, and LGBTQ support, among other
resources. The center also sponsors programs and events to raise
