Construction & detour alert! North’s e-Learning Support Center is
expanding into the corner space to the south of our current library
building location.
What’s new? Our faculty support and student support areas will now
be increased a bit and separated for privacy considerations. We will
have a quiet space for our modest online learner proctoring process.
And we will have an additional staff member to help with the jump in
“virtual classroom space” occurring with campus-wide use of several
technologies including the ANGEL learning management system.
What’s happening in the meantime? While work is being completed, we
are temporarily moving down to an office space near the cafeteria
(CC 1453A which can be entered from the east side of the building).
We’ll post signs to help everyone find us!
Will you notice a difference? The quarters may be cozy but we will
still provide you with the strong level of service you have come to
expect. We thank you all for your patience during this transition.
As of Monday January 30th we are moved and ready to help with
e-Learning questions great and small. We will keep you
posted on the news feed so you will be able to find us. You can
still reach us by email north.elearning@seattlecolleges.edu or by
phone 934-3738.
NeLSC (North's e-Learning Support Center) will help you to
succeed!
Distance Learning is not for everyone. The classes are not easier
than traditional on campus classes. Often they require additional
self-motivation and discipline. However, we will provide you with
guidance through the e-Learning aspects of your experience. For
technical help or an orientation to an unfamiliar aspect of your
courseware, contact NeLSC Office by email at
north.elearning@seattlecolleges.edu or
call us by phone at (206) 934-3738.
(NeLSC office hours are Monday
through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM: messages or email left after hours will be
answered the next business day) Please find us in our temporary
location CC 1453A until further notice.
