Students receiving Financial Aid must supply the Financial
Aid Office with evidence of their attendance. Attendance in an
e-Learning course is determined by the instructor and generally a
student must post a message or assignment in the virtual classroom
to qualify. The best way to contact most e-Learning instructors is
by email. Students requesting financial aid should email their
verification requests to their instructor in a timely manner and
make arrangements for their instructor to send an email directly to
Financial Aid indicating their "electronic" enrollment in the
course.
North Seattle e-Learning instructors follow certain procedures to
notify Financial Aid of a students attendance in the 'Virtual'
classroom. This can be done online through email or if a
student is able to come to campus they can meet with their
instructor during office hours, at the course orientation meeting or
through an arranged meeting time to get instructors signature.
The form can then be delivered to the Financial Aid office on
campus.

Without the signed forms Financial Aid may not pay tuition by the
deadline. Consequently, a student can be dropped from classes due to
non-payment. It’s the student’s responsibility to make sure that
their tuition is paid on time and students must be proactive in
getting the required paperwork to the Financial Aid office.
The North Seattle e-Learning office is not authorized to sign
students’ attendance verification forms you must get verification
from your instructor in the form of a signature or an email
authorizing your attendance in the class and confirm the receipt of
verification by contacting NSCC Financial Aid office.
