Please Note: Starting Fall Quarter 2011 North e-Learning courses that use ANGEL are all migrating to the ANGEL 7.4 server which uses a different URL than 7.3. If you have had an ANGEL class in the past you may see some differences usually these are fairly minor. For more information about ANGEL 7.4 go to the ANGEL help index.
If you are enrolled in a course that uses a special courseware
such as NSCC ANGEL 7.4 LMS you can find tutorials, troubleshooting and helpful
information by following this
link. North Seattle e-Learning provides in house tech
support for ANGEL as well as 24/7 support on the
WAOL website.
For any courseware used there may be technical issues that could impact your ability to login and use the software correctly. At the present time most of the North Seattle online learning technology is web based. This means that to access your virtual classroom you will need to use the information provided on the Registered Students page. You are provided a URL address and login information to enter your courseware. It is important to note that if you are on a network with strong security you may not be able to access your courseware and you will need to use a computer not associated with a network or you may have to adjust your personal firewall settings or virus protection to allow you access.
Mozilla Firefox:
At this time users have experienced problems with the
older versions of
Firefox 3 to 6. For ANGEL to work correctly please
upgrade to Version 7 or higher.
(ANGEL applied a patch on 10/07/11 to correct a compatibility issue
with version 7 so now it is recommended to upgrade so that all of
the features of ANGEL will work correctly)
With the recent patch to ANGEL some users have experienced problems using IE 8 or 9. At the present time if you have a problem logging into your ANGEL account using Internet Explorer please Clear the Browsing History: Tools/ Internet Options/ General "Clear Browsing History" (please be aware that this action will delete any saved passwords)
North Seattle e-Learning courses
require active participation and students need to log into their classes
during the first week of the quarter to avoid getting behind.
Please contact your instructor or our e-Learning office if you
experience difficulty in logging in.
