Other Instructional Materials: Courseware used is FirstClass: http://fc.northseattle.edu. To find out more information about using and setting up your computer for FirstClass go to the FirstClass Tutorial web pages. The protocol for logging into FirstClass: UserID = your first initial and entire last name. (all lowercase, one word) Password = last six digits of your Student ID. Please note: Student accounts will not be available until the first day of the quarter. Registering after the first day of the quarter your account may take 24 to 48 hours to be activated. The FirstClass software may not work if you are on a secure network - try using the Web Client as an alternative. To insure that FirstClass will work with your computer check your settings
Registration details: You must register for 10 - 12 credits from the following: Register for one of the following 5 credit courses: 9511 ANT 102 CD3 - Introduction to American Culture (5cr), 9513 ANT 113 CD3 - Africa (5cr), 9515 ANT 130 CD3 - World Cultures (5cr) AND one of the following 5 credit courses: 9521 ECO 100 CD3 - Survey of Economics (5cr), 9529 ECO 201 CD3 - Survey of Economics (5cr), 9531 ECO 240 CD3 - World of Work (5cr) AND you may register for one of the following 2 credit optional courses: 9519 ANT 298 CD3 - Special Topics in Anthropology (2cr), 9533 ECO 298 CD3 - Special Topics in Economics (2cr)

For classes using an online component, we suggest that you download the free version of Internet Explorer or Mozilla's Firefox and use one of these browsers whether or not AOL is your Internet Service Provider.
