To find out more information about using and setting up your computer for WebCT go to the WebCT Index page. Be sure to deactivate pop-up window blockers on your computer when using WebCT. Please note: assignments will require the ability to read and create Microsoft Word documents. You can download a Microsoft Word Reader. The protocol for logging into your WebCT class account: UserID = your first initial and entire last name. (all lowercase, one word) Password = last six digits of your Student ID. Please note: Student accounts will not be available until the first day of the quarter. Registering after the first day of the quarter your account may take 24 to 48 hours to be activated. To insure that WebCT will work with your computer check your settings.
Registration details: You must register for 10 - 12 credits from the following: Register for one of the following 5 credit courses: 9604 ENG 102 CD3 - Composition (5cr), 9606 ENG 240 CD3 - Reading and Writing Autobiography (5cr), AND the following 5 credit course: 9578 PSY 255 CD3 - Cognitive Psychology (5cr), AND you may register for one of the following 2 credit optional courses: 9607 ENG 299 CD3 - Independent Study - English (2cr), 9580 PSY 298 CD3 - Independent Study - Psychology (2cr)

For classes using an online component, we suggest that you download the free version of Internet Explorer or Mozilla's Firefox and use one of these browsers whether or not AOL is your Internet Service Provider. Otherwise, if you are using the AOL browser, the built in shortcuts may cause problems with most North Online course tools.
