
Short Description: This fully online course is an Introduction to American Film. This course examines Hollywood filmmaking as an art form, a business and a shaper of culture. Students will watch a wide variety of American films, learn how to use the technical language of film, practice reading a film critically, and write about the films assigned. Students are responsible for obtaining the videos/DVDs of the required films..
