How to Start Class:  Email your instructor to introduce yourself. Go to the class web site listed above and read the introductory materials. Attend any orientation meetings listed in the Class Orientation Schedule.
Please Note: Distance Learning courses require active participation and students need to log into their classes during the first week of the quarter to avoid getting behind. 

Textbook: Textbook will be supplied by your instructor at orientation meeting. You must contact your instructor in person or by email before you can receive the instructional materials.

Other Instructional Materials:  Academic Systems Algebra software. Optional drop in Math Lab meets in ED 2842A, Tuesdays, 5:30PM - 7:30PM. Technical requirements: Internet connection, Windows 2000 or above/ as well as MAC compatible.

For classes using an online component, we suggest that you download the free version of Internet Explorer or Mozilla's Firefox and use one of these browsers whether or not AOL is your Internet Service Provider. Otherwise, if you are using the AOL browser, the built in shortcuts may cause problems with most North Online course tools. If you have loaded a special software tool bar such as the Google or Yahoo toolbar this may interfere with your courseware and cause it to not work properly please go to our tech support on Popups and Tool Bars for more information.
