COURSE OBJECTIVES: 

This fully online course is the study of the development, analysis, and interpretation of accounting information for use by management.  Important topics studied include:                  

  • Cost behavior and analysis

  • Job Costing

  • Activity based costing

  • Break-even and target profit analysis

  • Cash budgets

  • Capital budgets

  • Variance analysis

  • Relevant costs for decision making

  • Segment reporting

  • Non-financial performance measurement

The purpose of this course is to show what kinds of information the manager needs and how it can be obtained and used.  Managerial accounting is a valuable tool for anyone who works in management or plans a career in business.
