Accounting Fundamentals II Instructor: Jim Weglin Email Address: jweglin@sccd.ctc.edu Course Syllabus: Nature of the Course: Accounting Fundamentals 220 is the second course of the Accounting Fundamentals series, ACC 210, ACC 220 and ACC 230. Course Objectives: To develop an understanding of the course materials. To understand the principles of the accounting cycle and be able to apply them to homework assignments and any other useful purposes. To continue to develop a background in accounting that will aid the learner to understand accounting material in the advanced accounting course(s). Text: Please see the North Seattle Online Bookstore for text book information. Course Format Distance Learning: This course is offered to individuals who find it inconvenient to attend regular classes. Good independent study skills are important to your success. This course uses video lectures which are available on DVD or via VHS tapes that may be viewed in the campus library or rented for the quarter. Personal Trainer is a web-based component of the class and requires a student access code. This code is included in the price of a new textbook. Its important that you purchase a new (not used) textbook that contains the textbook, DVD, and Personal Trainer online access code. The access code is not transferable from one student to another.
