MATH& 107: Math in Society
(formerly MAT 107)

Short Description: This fully online course is a Q course for non-science majors. Topics may include interest computations, the mathematics describing earthquakes and population growth, probability and statistics applied to everyday life, the relationship of mathematics to other disciplines such as music and art.

Campus Attendance Requirements: Two proctored exams on campus or elsewhere. 
Prerequisites: MATH 098 with a 2.0 or better, or placement exam.
