MATH 097: Elementary Algebra

Short Description: First course in algebra includes signed numbers, linear equations, linear inequalities, products and factorization of polynomials, and operations with quotients of polynomials. This course utilizes Academic Systems Algebra series which is 100% web based. Course fee includes accompanying textbook. No other textbook will be required.
5 credits

Technical Requirements: Students who enroll in this course can access the course from any PC running Windows 2000 or above or from designated computer labs on campus  / as well as MAC compatible.

Primarily Online (Modes explained)

Campus Attendance Requirements: Strongly recommended on-campus orientation meeting.  Four proctored tests. Optional Drop in Lab meets in ED 2842A.
Prerequisites: MATH placement, MATH 080,
or MATH 081.
