Mat 081: Basic Math Skills

Short Description: Whole numbers, fractions and decimals, percent, ratio and proportion, geometry, an introduction to algebra, and discussions concerning math avoidance.  This course utilizes Academic Systems Algebra series which is 100% web based. Course fee includes accompanying textbook. No other textbook will be required.

Technical Requirements: Students who enroll in this course can access the course from any PC running Windows 2000 or above or from designated computer labs on campus / as well as MAC compatible. 
Delivery Mode: Primarily Online (Modes explained)
Campus Attendance Requirements: Strongly recommended on-campus orientation meeting.  Optional Drop in Lab meets in ED 2842A.
