CSC 110: Introduction to Computer Programming

Short Description: Computer programming and program design using the JavaScript programming language. Emphasis is on Program Design and Algorithm Development while writing programs primarily about mathematical and scientific applications. This online course uses the Internet. Students are encouraged to attend the on-campus orientation session. If you are unable to attend, contact the instructor at email address below.  Students will be required to take a proctored midterm and final exam. All other instruction will be completed online. The course will utilize online discussion, email submission and grading of student work. See Getting Started for steps to begin class.

Campus Attendance Requirements: One on-campus orientation visit recommended. Midterm and final exam need to be taken on campus or proctored elsewhere. (details below)
Prerequisites: Computer experience and MATH 098 with a 2.0 or better.
