CSC 110: Introduction to Computer Programming

Short Description: Computer programming and program design using the Java Script programming language. Emphasis is on Program Design and Algorithm Development while writing programs primarily about mathematical and scientific applications. This online course uses the Internet. Students are encouraged to attend the on-campus orientation session. If you are unable to attend, contact the instructor at email address below.  Students will be required to take a proctored midterm and final exam on campus or elsewhere. All other instruction will be completed online. The course will utilize online discussion, email submission and grading of student work.

Campus Attendance Requirements: One on-campus orientation visit recommended. Midterm and final exam need to be taken on campus or proctored elsewhere.
Prerequisites: Computer experience and MATH 098 with a 2.0 or better.
