IT 135: Unix Operating System

Short Description: Using Linux, this course provides an introduction to the UNIX operating system. Includes the fundamental UNIX commands, the UNIX file system, vi editor, UNIX shells and shell programming. Experience using a computer and working with the Windows operating system is strongly recommended.

Campus Attendance Requirements: One highly recommended on-campus orientation. Midterm and final exam must be proctored on-campus or elsewhere with instructor approval.
