IT 120: Network Essentials -- COMPTIA NETWORK +

Short Description: This fully online course is designed to provide students with the background necessary to understand networking technologies.  The course serves as a general introduction for students who need a foundation in current networking technology for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and the Internet.  This distance learning class will utilize online discussion, and a series of online quizzes and proctored final exam.   Most of the discussion for this class will be through newsgroup and email.

Prerequisites: EET 130 (which may be taken concurrently). EET 130 may be waived for students holding an A+ Certification.
