205: Jazz
Masters of the 20th Century

Short Description:
This fully online course, focusing on the music and contributions of a
select number of jazz greats active during the 20th century, centers on a
series of essays about the important trends in jazz. These essays contain
music sound clips illustrating these trends. Students will comment to the
instructor about what they have heard and learned via email. Other than
these online activities, each student must visit their campus to take
proctored a midterm and final exam. The focus of this course is
non-technical and is intended for the general student.

Player.
