Short Description:
This fully online course is the first in a series of two
intermediate financial accounting courses which provide a comprehensive
study of financial accounting theory and financial accounting
reporting. The course will concentrate on the foundations of financial
accounting and include an in-depth study of generally accepted
accounting principles and concepts. The course will include a detailed
study of the content and presentation of the income statement, the
statement of stockholders equity, the balance sheet, and the statement
of cash flows. Other areas of emphasis include the auditors opinion
and the notes to the financial statements.
