Short Description: This fully online videomedia course is an introduction to human culture including social organization, economics, political systems, religion and technology taught through the videocassette series "Faces of Culture". Course also examines methods of anthropological research and theoretical orientations. This course fulfills elective and social sciences requirement. One in-person session (see below) plus correspondence with instructor and supplementary reading, viewing and assignments. Videotapes may be viewed in the campus library for free or rented for the quarter -- call 527-3611 in advance for tape rental. See link below for steps to begin class.
